Annual Fire Alarm Inspection

On an Annual basis your Fire Alarm system is tested for functionality.  The Annual Fire Alarm inspection is designed to reasonably ensure that the system will function in an emergency.  Some of the main things determined during an Annual Fire Alarm inspection:

• Do all of the devices function as intended?  
• Do the devices report to the panel when activated? 
• Does the Monitoring Center receive the signals?
• Do the batteries have a full charge? 

There is obviously much more involved in completing the Annual Fire Alarm System inspection, the intention is to give a broad overview of what is tested and why.

A full electronic report is generated once the testing is complete.  This is to be kept available for your insurance company or Inspector, as required.
